More about this tour.

Tahune sits where the Huon and Picton Rivers meet, deep in the Huon Valley forest about an hour and a half south of Hobart. The Airwalk carries you 600 metres through the treetops to a cantilevered platform 50 metres above the riverbank, with the mountains of the World Heritage Area lined up on the horizon.Back on the ground, your entry covers every walk on site. The Huon Pine Walk is an easy riverside track among young and old Huon pines, one of the best places in Tasmania to see this rare tree growing wild. The forest trail then leads to the Swinging Bridges track, crossing two suspension bridges over the tea coloured water of the Picton and Huon Rivers.Allow around two hours for the walks, then settle into the licensed cafe for Tasmanian wine, cider, barista coffee or house made scones with jam and cream. Make a full day of the valley with the Huon Valley food and cider safari, or browse our things to do in Hobart guide for the rest of your stay.Explore the walks, check availability for your date, and book your entry.
