We kept landing on the same five operators every search engine wanted to sell us, heavily marketed, heavily booked, heavily generic. Meanwhile the best days we ever had in Queensland and Tasmania came from a tip-off, not a top-ten list.
Aussie Loop exists to surface those tip-offs. We dig past the sponsored results to find the small, locally-run operators who know a reef channel, a rainforest track, or a wine valley better than anyone with a billboard.

Meet the bloke behind the loop
Dhruv is the founder of Aussie Loop, who takes pride in calling Sydney home. He's spent last few years exploring Australia.
By day he leads product and design at Traveloris, an AI travel platform already working with operators like Tasmania.com. Before that he spent years building products for Telstra and Boston Consulting Group. He has spent his career figuring out how tech should work to make human experiences delightful, which made it obvious how often it does not.
He has also lived and worked across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, the US, the UAE, Malaysia, India and South Africa, which is a long way of saying he knows a real recommendation from a sponsored one when he sees it. You can follow the wandering on Instagram at @talesofdhruv.
