Commonly asked questions.
It's just your group, a private vehicle and a local guide, with pickup from your Newcastle address between 8am and 9am and a return around 5pm. You choose the cellar doors, the pace and the focus, whether that's Semillon, sparkling, boutique labels or food pairings.
Pricing is per group rather than per person, so the cost per head drops as your group grows, for groups of one to eleven guests. Larger groups can be arranged on request.
Lunch isn't included. Most groups stop for an à la carte lunch with vineyard views at 4 Pines at The Farm, or another venue on request, at your own cost.
Non alcoholic tastings are free to add, but dealcoholised wines can contain up to 0.5% alcohol, so they may not suit anyone avoiding alcohol completely for pregnancy, medical or faith reasons.
The team practises responsible service of alcohol. Cellar doors may ask for photo ID and can refuse service at their discretion, and guests who are intoxicated may be refused travel without a refund.
Cancel more than 24 hours before your start time for a full refund; cancellations within 24 hours and no shows aren't refundable. If the operator ever has to cancel, for example in severe weather, you'll be offered a new date or a full refund.
Dressy casual: cellar doors don't allow thongs, ripped clothing, costumes or men's singlets. Closed shoes are best for vineyard walking, plus a light jacket in the cooler months.
Let the team know about any dietary needs, allergies, mobility needs or medical conditions when you book. As the day is private, the itinerary can be planned with your group in mind.
