More about this tour.

No alarm needed for this one. You sail from Cairns at 10:30am, reach Green Island around 11:15am and stay until the last boat home at 4:30pm, which gives you about five unhurried hours on a coral cay inside the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and the soft late afternoon light on the water before you leave.Arriving late morning lines you up neatly for lunch at the island restaurants, then the rest of the day is yours. Snorkel gear and a glass bottom boat tour are both included, so you can spot coral and fish from the boat first and then swim out off the patrolled beach to find them yourself. In between, follow the self guided eco walk through the island's rainforest, join the marine biologist reef talk if there is a space, or cool off in the pool kept for Great Adventures guests.
